Our Inventory

Now that the seeds have been ordered and received, it's time to figure out how many plants to grow this year. We have a good sampling of new ones and will also grow a few old favorites.

New varieties to try this year:

Bhut Jolokia (aka Ghost Pepper or Naga Pepper)
Large Bhut Jolokia
Rooster Spur
Big Jim (not sure what these are, they were free with the order)
Flourecent Purple
Bolivian Rainbow
Atomic Starfish
Scotch Bonnet

Old faithfuls that we grow every year:

Thai Sun (great for indoors and small containers)
Tabasco (also good for containers - makes good hot sauce)
Hot Firecracker (good yield, great for drying to make pepper flakes)
Charleston (grows well in containers and produces a good crop)
Long Red Slim (these have been the free seeds for a number of years and remind me of a cayenne variety)

We'll grow at least one of every variety this year.
