Peppers Step by Step
This section will guide you through the steps in growing your hot peppers. Sometimes it's also useful to know when things should be done so you can block out some time at the right moment for your hobby.

| February - March | Get the little plants going to be ready for spring. |
| March - April | Harden Off the Plants Start getting the seedlings accustomed to the outdoors. The timing for this will vary depending on where you live, but outdoor temperatures need to be consistently above 65 degrees to begin this process. |
| April - June | Transfer to Containers You can start putting them in containers at your leisure, but it's easier to move them between inside and outside if you harden them off before hand and then can just leave them outside once in containers.. |
| July - September | Tend your Crops Take care of the plants until the peppers are ready for harvest. |
| July - October | Harvest Collect your winnings. |
| July - October | Process Preserve your peppers in a variety of ways. |
